It’s back for 2022! On July 24th we will be gathering hundreds of supporters and volunteers together for our 2022 Mayor’s Cup Regatta. Sign up for your boat or sponsorship today!
The annual Mayor’s Cup Regatta takes place every July on the Esplanade of the Charles River*, with dozens of boats racing along the Charles to raise funds for ASA programs, to raise awareness about our programs, and to challenge athletes of all abilities.
This isn’t just any boat race! Our signature Regatta consists of teams of 8 (each including a teammate who lives with a disability – we have ASA athletes ready to join your team too!) competing in Hawaiian Outrigger Canoes. You will race in double-hulled traditional canoes, provided by ASA. No experience necessary! Paddlers must be 5 years or older.
Team boats are $2,500 and $5,000 with special perks available depending upon the level you choose. Check out the benefits for each level of team boat – like reserved seating at lunch and an exclusive VIP tent for your team enjoy during the races.
Sponsorships may include 1 year naming rights for the Regatta, media and promotional opportunities, tent or water sponsorship, sponsor an athlete paddler, and more.
Reserve your boat, sponsorship levels (with or without staffing your own boat), lunch tickets, sponsorship for a Mayor’s Cup Athlete, or general donation for the Regatta today! No registration needed to make a financial gift to support the Regatta. Make a gift today!
Bring your crew and spend a day on the Charles River with nearly 300 paddlers, volunteers, and supporters. Race day includes timed races, on shore activities, live music and a post-race luncheon at Loews Hotel Boston. Prizes will be awarded to teams with the most spirit, best time, best team uniform/costume, and more. Come race with us or just cheer on the teams!
