How did you get started with AccesSport?

Having Multiple Sclerosis since 1993 has now caused my mobility to become rather limited. However, I have always enjoyed sports and I wanted to keep active. When I discovered AccesSport America, I began with Gait Training and then added tennis, cycling and the regatta. Since “COVID times” I have been doing Zoom workouts twice a week and my wife Carol and I participate in the weekly Zoom Pub Quiz which is very entertaining!

What is your favorite AccesSport Activity?

Gait Training, cycling and paddling are all great workouts!

What is one thing we don’t know about you?

During my youth in Spain, I was a competitive downhill skier and long distance runner.

What else would you like to share with the people reading about you in the Community Profile Project?

AccesSport America is a wonderful community of trainers, athletes, volunteers and staff. It has allowed me to keep active, get stronger, make new friends and have fun all at the same time. Ross, Nate, Chris and all the other trainers are highly motivating, kind and supportive. Plus, they are funny as heck! (Laughter is the best medicine!) I am very grateful to be a part of this family. ¡Mil gracias!

“AccesSportAmerica is a fantastic program and deserves as much support as possible. I have followed the growth of the organization and its concept for many years…indeed I know of no other organization that brings such passion and expertise.”
